Theme Overview

In this series students learn that South America is a diverse region with many ecosystems.  Vocabulary for this theme includes seasons, weather and cardinal directions.  Kallpachay students learn social skills of talking about their feelings and our routines also include asking their classmates how they are feeling.  Our curriculum features auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning activities.  Students can easily relate to this vocabulary through symbols they recognize from their everyday life!
