Theme Overview
Peas, ice cream, and broccoli—would you eat those together? Students learn to talk about their food preferences along with the qualities of fruits, vegetables, and other food groups. Creative projects include creating unique pizza and taco combinations, designing a restaurant menu, and making a chef’s apron/hat. Real fruit and vegetables are transformed into beautiful pictures of peacocks, fish, trees, owls, and more! Second language learning is made easy when students play their way to Spanish.
